Even though the talk is from 2007 (before the release of PS3 and Wii) it does contain some interesting information:
- Average age of gamers 29
- 40% of gamers are female
- Failed Predictions - free games funded by paid advertising
- Importance of the mobile market
- Predicting correctly that it's hard to compete with Nintendo software on Wii
etc.
Even though it may be a bit dated, it helps understand some of the choices that game developers have made in the passed few years.
