Forums - Microsoft - Deadly Premonition, Really?

One of the most under rated games of recent memory (overall gamerankings and metacritic wise) mainly because the gameplay mechanics are a bit old school. it was also only $20 on release, so not much to lose there.

It's just that simple.

Well, as usual UK got the short end of the stick and the came released at £25, right now it stands at £15, I'll probably wait till it's considerably lower beore making a purchase, despite being a budget price I can see myself not being able to play the game. Similar to the case when I brought Oblivion, I personally though that it was sooo outdated at the time I played it I wept for the money I lost. Then I realized I could just return it.

Disconnect and self destruct, one bullet a time.

You won't like it most likely. Oblivion is bleeding edge tech compared to Deadly Premonition. Deadly Premonition is a lot like Shenmue from 2000.
