Forums - Gaming - New video game theme park openning in China!

China has always been a country of piracy and IP theft for as long as I can remember. But joining China's fake DisneyLand is something that has never been built before. A video game theme park, no not the Pokemon theme park in Japan this park is built utalizing some of the best known franchises in gaming.

The park consists of three major sections...brace yourself they are called "Terrain of WarCraft", "Universe of StarCraft" and "Mole World". These major sections compose most of the park however Cyber-Gaming locations likely Internet Cafe's will be spread out throughout the park.

Other games making Cameo's include Assasins Creed, meaning this isn't just a Blizzard Park. Now Kotaku tried to get a comment from Blizzard but it seems they haven't been up to talking about the park yet. The park seems to be real and no joke, I bet it could make millions when its openned. Some of the rides and proof of construction on the park can be seen in the video below.

What other games are going to be cameod at the park is unclear. Are their some games you'd especially like to see incorporated in the park? And if the park is successful do you think other companies like perhaps UbiSoft or Activision may open similiar legit parks in North America or elsewhere around the globe?

What???

This sounds like Warner Bro's Movie World were instead of having rides named after Warner bro's movies like batman, superman etc they are going to be named after games. Shows about games. Characters of games walking around the park and the only difference would be the amount of tv screens and computers

Of Course That's Just My Opinion, I Could Be Wrong

I am surprised it took so long to post the news...Ah half year ago this was already announced (or even longer);..  Anyway it possible opens next month but others sources say May... (Shanghai).
