Bumpdated!  2 new each for NGP & 3DS.

Around the Network

too many 3ds games

Seems like the 3DS will have as much shovelware as the DS and Wii. Meh... oh NINTY.

The only thing NGP can say now is it has better titles game for game because of all the probable meh 3DS titles mixed in there with the good ones lol.

It's fun to look at, but this isn't a competition until we get much closer to the NGP release.  We simply don't know.

So just have fun with this for now!

Thanks for keeping up with this Jarrod. *tip o' the hat*

Just as a comment on "shovelware" ...

Low budget software tends to follow systems that are popular enough (or platforms that people anticipate will be popular enough), and most systems that have been plagued by "shovelware" also tend to have the most high quality game releases. It was true of the Playstation,  PS2, the NES, SNES, Gameboy, Gameboy Advance and Nintendo DS; and (about) the only time it hasn't happened is with the Wii and HD consoles, but that was because higher quality developers treated the PC, PS3 and XBox 360 as a single platform (negating the need to adapt to the Wii's success).

Or to put it another way, if a publisher doesn't believe they can turn a profit off of their low budget licenced game cash in on your platform they tend not to believe that they can turn a profit off of their big budget high quality games.

I think in this case it's just people taking the huge disparity in lists as some kind of attack on Sony lol.  People, the NGP will have many more than 12 games rofl.  It's cool!

Great thread. Hope you continue updating with new games.

Proud to be the first cool Nintendo fan ever

Number ONE Zelda fan in the Universe

DKCTF didn't move consoles

Prediction: No Zelda HD for Wii U, quietly moved to the succesor

Predictions for Nintendo NX and Mobile

List updated!  Sorry I haven't been around, been busy.  E3 is going to be insane!

Updated again, 3DS games are being announced / leaked almost daily now.

Okay, trying this again.  No polls, no trolls, no Vs, no butthurt, just games. <3

Current list of announced games for each... retail only, I'll continue updating the lists as we get more announcements...

Update: I've decided to bold confirmed exclusives.  This is system wide, not simply same gen handheld exclusives, for a game to count it can't have ever been on another console, computer, handset or even arcade board.  This also goes for collections or remakes of older games, for them to count as new exclusives there must also be an appreciable amount of new or reworked content.  Anything unconfirmed either way will not be included either.
