I downloaded the beta yesterday. The picture quality is amazing. The devs have paid a very close attention to detail and the colours are gorgeous. It almost looks like Uncharted 2 on an alien planet. The controls are very smooth and the heaviness is gone (unless you carry a rocket launcher) It definitely plays better than K2 (which was a great game anyway).

Now the 3D that seems to fascinate almost everyone here. It enables to look deeper into the screen, making it seem like TV is just a window looking into another fantastic and colourful world. 3D is a great addition and makes the experience very immersive giving you the illusion of being inside the game. Haven’t noticed anything popping out at me but this is only one multiplayer map. Graphics take a small hit in order to compensate for the doubled framerate of 3D.

Havent tried the game with Move abut am gonna wait for the shar shooter. Glad the game launches after my exams in a few weeks otherwise Id be in a serious trouble! Cant wait to play the full game.

Anyone here who didnt like the beta?

I think it was more of the same and yet another average FPS in my eyes, I propably won't be getting it. Atleast not until it has dropped under 20€ in price and only if my mates still play it.

I think the game looks slightly better than KZ2 though and Helghasts still look badass.

Downloading the beta right now; I was iffy about the game until I saw the brutal melee video. Can't wait to get it.

*Raises Hand* I don't care for the beta.  It's definately not bad, just not as good as the other shooters I play.
