It really doesn't matter since Pixar has the best movies by far.

While anyone would have a hard time trying to name a bad Pixar movie, you could come up with a long list of bad movies from the others.

Pixar is overrated and their output quality fluctuates between bad and amazing. Cars was bad, Wall-E was bad, Toy Story 3 was bad and Up was half a good movie thrown into another half of a stupid Saturday morning cartoon.

Dreamsworks flactuates as well, but I think their bests can hold up against Pixars best. The Prince of Egypt, Shrek, Flushed Away and How to Train Your Dragon are amazing movie's and they usually don't have to rely on typical tear jerker attempts so that they can get nominated at the Oscars.

Bet with Conegamer and AussieGecko that the PS3 will have more exclusives in 2011 than the Wii or 360... or something.

lol never seen that, doesn't change the fact Dreamworks movies mostly suck.  :-p

They're like the Activision of the movie world.  Occasional gem, but mostly rehashes and bland concepts.

The only reason I can name a bad movie from Weta is because there is pictures of Avatar in the thread which I perceive to be from them.

I have no freakin clue who they are.

Yeah, my comment was mainly towards Dreamworks.  I really don't have anything against the people that made Avatar because I really don't know anything else they've done.  Avatar was a bad movie but at least it looked good.

But still, again, it doesn't matter which had the best graphics, Pixar just makes incredible movies.  If you just thnk about everyone one of their movies, you just have to think to youself why would this movie be a hit? and then each movie just blows you away.

I mean Toy Story 3?  In any other studios hands that movie would have had fail written all over it, kind of like Shrek 3, but Pixar somehow made something pretty amazing.

I don't really know why I threw avatar into this lol, you should know Industrial light and magic's works as just about every Spielberg film with special effects use them as well as a wide range of other movies. They are probably the most prolific special effects company in movies.

Weta the other effects house that worked on Avatar basically did the effects in all Peter Jackson's movies.

Pixar make far better films then Dreamworks.

Weta might just be the best effects house in the world. Lord of the Ring and Avatar Biaches!

Weta's first full CG movie The Adventures of Tintin: Secret of the Unicorn certainly looks striking

their work on King Kong is still unmatched IMO as well
