Forums - Sony - PS1 games on remote play!

Yeap, FF 7 is being played on my PSP right now. As long as the disc is in the drive you can select it now and play PS1 games. I cant believe they didnt announce this!

theres a nifty new option to map the buttons as well for PS3 controllers....this is pretty cool.

Er right, great putting your console on and your PSP only to play a game, why not just playing it on the PS3 only, dont see the fuss about this. I personally consider it as completely pointless and useless, to be honest.

well, when i go to my GF's families house i put FF7 in my PS3, with remot eplay i can turn my PS3 on and off thus letting me play FF7 at school or anywhere in the world.

Pretty damn sweet if you ask me.

you realize you dont have to use remote play from home, and you dont have to leave your console on, right?

the best part is since its remote play you can access your saves from your HD so, if you had been playing a game at home, and saved you access the save from th ePS3 so no lost time =)

maybe i should have put something like "PS3 guaranteed to outsell Wii because of PS1 games on remote play" to get any responses here, eh? I guess no one here wants to discuss some kick ass new feature for our PS3's? =(

Very Nice. Although it can be laggy at times.

Didja get that thing I sentcha?

That is pretty cool, although as Peter notes, lag would put a damper on games that require quick reactions.
