Nix was shooting the fireballs, and in the video where he saves Kuo he says "its freezing", so i am thinking that Kuo has ice powers. So you get the power according to the path you take is what i am thinking. Also, i don't like how when he shoots his bolt it looks like bullets instead of a stream like in infamous 1, do you notice it?

I do agree on this. I noticed it as well. Looks odd. Don't remember what exactly about the animation from the first one, but I know I liked it better.

Some people on the infamous 2 site are speculating that its a new ability. I hope so, i would miss the streaming bolt lol

I was just about to say that too, I was thinking it was a new ability. What i HOPE they would do is let us mix up powers...like that Sorcery gameplay video..for example, create some ice and send a ionic vortext throught it..and BAM! New attack has been made. Will make experimenting a lot interesting too

and I LOVE that move where he lifts the car with him to kick it! that's brilliant

inFAMOUS 1 question. I've been wondering this for a while...

Okay, so pre-blast in inFAMOUS 1, no one seems to have any sort of powers. Seems like the inFAMOUS world is just like our world with non-super power wielding ppl. The blast from the Sphere creates the super powers in Cole, and the Sphere was crafted by Kessler (i.e. Cole) and the First Sons. Well, if the only reason super powers entered the inFAMOUS world (and Cole) was bc of the Sphere, then how and why did Kessler have superpowers? And if the case is that he gained them from the Sphere after he created it, then why are his powers different from Cole's?

People still had powers pre-blast. People with powers are called Conduits. Conduits are born that way, and develop powers over time, so Kessler got his powers through time and age. Even in the videos of Coleclimbing buildings 4 years before the blast, you see him climbing and jumping off buildings like no normal human can. The blast sphere just accerlates the rate and which the powers come and amplifies them. Kesslers powers are different from Cole (very similar though) because he was not affected by the sphere.

No kidding. How'd I miss all that after 2 play-through's? haha. I knew about the conduits obviously, and even considered them before I sent that message. But I just figured they received their powers from the sphere also.

The plot is even better/more thought out than I realized. So the inFAMOUS world IS one where superpowers exist, with or without the creation of the sphere. Cool. I think my main misunderstanding was in that I thought Kessler made the sphere to GIVE Cole powers altogether, not to enhance/accelerate the development of powers he would already possess.

Don't remember specific details about the cutscenes where Cole was scaling the buildings 4 yrs back, but I don't think I noticed a superhuman ability in him. That's a pretty cool piece of info, too.
