Super bowl XLV...who ya got?

I am soo tired of hearing about that show...and it's been exported? Damn it!

For American football I submit this; the amount of acting and 'flopping' comparative to soccer or basketball is minimal.  I hate seeing a bball player or soccer player acting to get a foul they do not deserve.  Ohh and NO TIES. That is all.

You really have to experience the culture and the game to understand its appeal(I'm sure it is the same with soccer).  Some of the guys may not be in the greatest of shape, but they understand the complexity of the game amidst adrenaline running for 4 hours. 

Sorry, I started reading your post but then my friend told me that Michael Jackson's Thriller was gonna be featured in the special Glee episode, and I got distracted.

Hope that silly game doesn't last too long. They should just replace it with Glee reruns.

I'm eastern. So the closest would be the Buffalo Bills and then the Detroit Lions. Either I enjoy American football with a minimal choice of a home team to cheer for... or I watch ^gasp* Canadian football. Clearly I pick American football.

OT: I'm sorry for your choices:/  You could root for the Packers...They have a strong fanbase around the U.S.

Don't the general masses flock to watch American Idol every week? At least Glee's scripted, and has somewhat talented people on it.

I'm from Seattle, so I understand the sentiment. However, it is the refs that Seattle should be angry with.  I just hope this grudge doesn't last as long as Pay-rod(although he deserves every bit of it!!).


yeah true, the refs are the ones that I am still pissed off with. But, hey, Seattle has only been to one super bowl and had the best season in franchise history. So it was a bitter pill to swallow that Super Bowl loss, especially it was a game that the Steelers didn't deserve to win, just look at Roethlisberger's day...
