The reality of the videogame industry is NO ONE stays on top forever. NO ONE. That is how the game works. Sony got lucky with the PS and PS2. To manifest sheer arrogance, like Sony has been around forever, and feel as a fan you are entitled to be top dog, and think everyone needs to line up with your wish for the shape of the gaming universe, is absurd.

As far as the original XBox goes, Microsoft dropped it after their licensing agreement with Nvidia ran out, and they couldn't make it any longer. At least they bothered to provide some semblance of backwards compatibility, which is something Sony threw out to save a few bucks in the making of the PS3.

If you think it about it, the lack of backwards compatibility was a good thing. When they threw out BC, they dropped the price 100 $. That's an extra 100$ to buy a PS2 if you wanted one.

The slide cover system in Killzone is insane! You're gonna have people sliding under rockets all over the place in the beta, I think that's gonna be a bigger thing than people realize.

LMFAO!!! That's scary!!! I was just thinking of doing that when I play the beta lol That's why I always aim my rockets to the floor next to them. Even if they don't die, I still did some damage and it's better than missing and looking like a total noob lol

I'm not all that surprised by anything they have done, but I am disappointed. The DS was much like the NGP demo when it was first released using touch screen in places it just didn't make any sense (see touch screen for starting boost in DKR), and it got over it. Sony is new to the whole touch screen thing though and it shows by the completely nonsensical areas they implemented it in that Uncharted demo.
