I keep hearing that the game has been delayed to 2012 but On the deus ex website they have nothing of this, Amazon still saying they will ship on march 8. 

But Game Informer and many other sites are saying its been delayed to 2012. 

Does any one know whats going on here. 

It's been delayed to Financial Year 2012 (I suppose it's 2012), which means it will release in the year starting April 2011

Originally had a Feb/Mar release frame but SE delayed it to 'improve qualities for the game' and so it was pushed into the 2012 FY.

Apparently it has a temporary date of April 2011 so far.

Financial Year 2012 it starts in april 2011.

i dont know why they would push it back because you would think that SE wants it released soon so they can make some money which they seem to not have no or is running out because of the whole ff 14 disaster 

Maybe the game really isn't just ready for a early March date.

Plus Deus Ex HR would be releasing in a very busy Q1 so when there's less competition during April/May, they thought it would be better for DX to release then.

well basically they are moving from one busy period to another because April/May has La Niore, Duke Nukem forever, Socom 4, Brink maybe?. 

Then you have cod later in the year loaded with your yearly sequels and big blockbusters. So its going to hard to fine an quite patch 

Well Deus Ex would be better off with those games than being bunched with Killzone 3, Marvel VS Capcom 3, Bulletstorm, Crysis 2, Dragon Age II for Feb/Mar

But like I said the real reason could very just be because they just weren't ready
