lol, PSN games were leaked 6 months ago when the jailbreak first came out. This isn't new at all...

I don't see the big deal. WiiWare/VC/Steam/XBLA/AppStore games are available for free if you know where to look. Sony may now experience what all their competitors have for years already.

It's really annoying how all this is being blown out of proportion people don't realize that everything thats happen with the ps3 recently has been done on 360 for years, though I think the extra attention they are getting is increasing the amount of incidents, I'm wondering if Sony will come up with counter measures of some kind or if things will die down or if fuel will just keep adding to the fire

Whatever line or excuse pirates made up is completely gone from this point. You do this and Sony catches you... well I think it's safe to say you won't even be thinking about games after Sony is done with you. If they go after Geohot (hard as it is now), imagine how happy they will be to take you to court and sue you for everything you own.

These Hackers said they were doing it for the sake Homebrew. Now us gamers are gonna have to face the repercussions of "consumer rights" and that other BS they spewed

Some can embrace jailbreaking while others will hate it and wish doom on hackers.

But the real problem here is that it is unfair for people like me who actually buy the content. What i mean is, Sony can do something drastic to combat the hacks that it will ultimately screw everyone, not just hackers.
