Before you ask me where I got the 14 million from. It was apart of a separate interview several months ago.

Get your facts straight. That doesn't make any sense. NPD for worldwide sales? 3 million PS3s in the retail channel at the end of March? Financial forecasts with sold-to-customers numbers?

I know that Tretton isn't exactly helping with his misleading statements, but since, as you say "this has been discussed to death" in this forum, there's no reason to make false claims while seeming so sure about them.

Sony Projections versus sales so far:

Here are VGC sales numbers from April 1st until now.

Console	PS3	PSP	PS2
Total Sony thinks:	4,948,446 11,000,000	8,025,275 10,000,000	5,994,899 12,000,000

I find it odd no one has mentioned the projection they have for PS2.... Sony made these projections a long time ago, (before March) what i don't understand is why they don't want to change them, the PSP projection is the only one they will manage, and it looks like they may pass it by a few 100k too (should finish December with 9-9.5million, then 1-1.5 million for Jan-March)

best case scenario looks like they will be 1 million over for PSP, but at least 3 million under for both PS2 and 3.

worst case would be bang on for PSP, but >4 million under for PS3 and PS2.
