Hybrid games will enable Kinect in some types of games were the camera technology alone for itself isn't up for the task.

Thats what those will be designed for.

Wow we agree on something... I don't feel good

If this video of the FPS is indeed bollocks then yes you will need buttons for a gun, as there is a button on the gun to begin with. That is not going backwards, that is simply remembering guns have buttons to to resemble one you need a gun imo.

Darth first said "...to see gamers so close minded."  So he threw the first stone by calling gamers who do not agree with his POV "close minded."  Then I was demonstrating how keeping an opened mind can also least to a different valid, logical, and reasonable POV.  Nothing hypocritical about that.  All I was doing was showing the other side of the coin.  Then Aussie here accussed me of being hypocritical (name calling) when it certainly wasn't the case just because I was valid in my opposing assessment while respecting others.

You said the same thing to Darth Tigris, he said because he wasn't apparently being open minded in your view and he wasnt appreciating your stand point. But the fact that you said you need a gun for fps and are refusing to believe there is a possibility otherwise proves you are being hypocritical.

Stop playing so innocent, you know exactly what you wrote which shows by the first line. You said he was being hypocritical I replied with pot kettle black, meaning what you accused someone else of doing you have been doing yourself.

Therefore, Darth is just as guilty as I using YOUR logic.  Because in YOUR mind what I did was wrong which was the same as Darth since you said I "said the same thing."  Yet, you condemn me and not him.  You cannot judge my heart.  But if you want to accuse me of being hypocritical, go right ahead.  I cannot stop you.  But we do know Darth did throw the first stone when he said "...to see gamers so close minded."  And since you didn't call Darth out for his deviant action but you call me out on it, we can logically conclude that you are employing what is commonly referred to as a "double standard."  Anything else?

No I am not condemning anyone. He is not the one that spouted that he is the innocent one. You are the only one that has done this. Again don't play the innocent one, you are a lot more aware then you let on sometimes.

When you stated that he was the only one not listening to your views but you were listening to his, that makes you hypocritical. My post was pot kettle black, then you get your back up about it. All I am saying that is to admit that you are in fact being hypocritical about the whole matter, I have seen Darth Tigris in threads saying that you may need a gun I haven't seen you in any thread saying that you might not.

And how I am playing this by the heart, I don't personally know Darth or are you saying from the 360? If we are talking about the 360 by heart, I believe there is a chance for Kinect to work, though seeing as Guns have buttons, working around that will be interesting. That is my thoughts.

You were condemning/accusing me of being hypocritical.  You cannot deny that, and you cannot judge the intent (heart) of a person's action.  As I said to Gergory in an earlier response, "I was demonstrating how keeping an opened mind can also least to a different valid, logical, and reasonable POV.  Nothing hypocritical about that.  All I was doing was showing the other side of the coin."  So if you don't want to believe me, I'm cool with that.  Your choice.  But I've been consistence, reasonable, mature, and logical in my responses.  Accuse me of whatever you want.  You are the one who has to live with it.  See you around.

I am not condemning you. I am outright saying you are being hypocritical. Wow you still have not shown a case which you are open to suggest you don't necessarily need a gun or a button, thus you are showing yourself to be close minded thus hypocritical.

Yikes, sorry my comments started such a back and forth with you two.  For the record, though, this is how I understand things.

The definition of close-minded is "Intolerant of the beliefs and opinions of others; stubbornly unreceptive to new ideas."

Others POV: Kinect won't be able to work unless it has a controller with it eventually.

My POV: Kinect as is will require games designed around its unique interface.

Now, based on the dictionary definition, which view is close-minded?
