so i just finished teh writer and i have to say that it was the best episode i have ever played for alan wake along with episode 4. the way it was layered out the layers of the dream he was trying to conquer reminded me of inception, i think if inception video game is to be done properly it could be one of the best inovative games made the possibilty of blending everything together to confuse enmies and tehy confusing you, it could make one heck of a thriller and i cant imagine how online could be.

So what are your opinions

I haven't had the chance to play DLC because I rented AW a while back and decided not to buy the full game at the time as I finished single player so it was a bit pointless to buy it now I completed it. But yeah the story is a real mindfuck even in the main game I think, I'll probably end up watching the playthrough videos of DLC to catch up with the missed story.

Fingers crossed for a sequel that does not take 5 years.

Yeah day one for me, regardless of the critics. Just rented it at the time as was abit doubtful about the quality of the game taking it's development time into account.

hoping for a sequel. btw buy a copy when it hits 9.99 so that you play the signal and the writer, especailly the writer it was that good especailly the dreams part and blending of it and the signal is the hardest episode in all of alan wake

Yeah I'll probably end up picking up a GOTY edition if it does eventually get one, or the classics one. I did it with Gears 2 and got all the maps packs and a game for £10, same with Halo Wars.
