In the past months, Vgchartz Community has grown in a pretty healthy rate, the forums and layout are getting better, and ioi's team are doing their best to give us the most accurate and detailed numbers possible. Our community is very controled, and thanks to the mods,  the forums are great and un-corrupted.

However, we still aren't the best in reviews or videos, a proccess, that I understand, will take many years and work, but we have the huge advantage of the sales charts.... anyway my point is:

What if those bigger sites start having data like us? How would it impact Vgchartz? Will it impact it at all? Post your opinions here.

They already post NPD and Media Create sales.

That's different, I mean having full charts like vgcharts with ww numbers

It wouldn't be as extensive as ours, and they probably wouldn't be the ones actually doing the tracking - - The whole idea is highly unlikely

But if it were to happen then I don't think it'd matter or make much of a difference, I personally come here mostly for the community - - - - - - VGChartz would still be known for being specialized in this area no matter what anyone else does

I know the whole idea is unlikely... heck, impossible really.

But if it did happen, if the charts aren't good, Vgchartz would be hit by almost nothing, if at all.

However, it might loose some hits assuming their charts would be as good.

I really don't think it would have much of an impact.  People who want really good charts would still probably come to vgchartz, not to mention the forums on here are just a lot better IMHO.

i know this is off topic, but i cant create threads, and since this is about sales...

how does vgchartz track GTA IV the complete addition, it seems as though they only track GTA IV and liberty city stories, but not the complete addition. they should track it separately since it comes with both of them, and therefor adds sales to not only GTA IV but also LIberty City Stories.

also the ps3 version comes with all the games on the one Blu-ray disk, and i was wondering if the xbox version comes with multiple disks, or if you download the stories expansion because that seems like a ton of data to fit on 1 DVD. 

also every time people discuss gta sales people claim that rockstar said that both versions sold about the same, can someone post i link of them saying that. thanks
