Industrygamers Microsoft's Kinect camera has been doing pretty well for itself, selling 8 million units in 60 days. Third-party publishers, for the most part, have been pretty enthusiastic about the motion peripheral, throwing their support behind it. One of the big believers from the start was Ubisoft, and today the French publisher declared that it was number one on Kinect in 2010. Laurent Detoc, president of Ubisoft North America, stated: “We believed in the potential of Kinect from the start and we set out to be the leading third-party publisher. It worked. But this is only the beginning for us. We’ll be bringing some of the industry’s most innovative offerings to Kinect soon, starting with Michael Jackson The Experience, Child of Eden and others. We will have something for everyone.” Ubisoft started on Kinect with three titles: Your Shape: Fitness Evolved, MotionSports, andFighters Uncaged. Ubisoft said it intends to be number one on Kinect once again in 2011. Michael Jackson The Experience on Kinect will hit stores on April 12, 2011. As for Child of Eden, from renowned game creator Tetsuya Mizuguchi, an exact release date hasn't been pinned down yet. http://www.industrygamers.com/news/ubisoft-were-number-one-on-kinect/
