Well sony's 7 billion dollar investment in blu ray for the PS3 made Blu Ray. So all those companies making Blu ray products owe it to SONY for making Blu Ray. But SONY also is the biggest producer of Blu Ray disks so they are an benefiting as well.
Onto PSP2. I believe that how it would work is you will have future PS3 titles available for the PSP2 but it would be downgraded graphics just like in PC where you have low, medium and High settings , so probably low which isn't that bad. And SONY will release all past PS3 games as well and 3rd party will most likely do the same with there most popular titles from this gen. And sony will make an system were you play at home then continue on the go (great slogan there), where you can transfer save files from one to the other.
This would be great for plane flights and car trips especially if you are going on an trip and an game you been waiting to play comes out on PS3/PSP2 and you are able to play it on the plane and when you get home able to buy the PS3 game and continue were your left off on the PSP2.
Other things if this is true sony should do is have Game bundles where you can buy both the PS3 and PSP2 game disks in the one case at an lower price then buying two separate.
Only issue is that Battery Life when Gaming Laptops like the Asus g53jw cant last 2 hours, i am doubting that they PSP2 offering this will last more than 5 hours.
Of Course That's Just My Opinion, I Could Be Wrong
