You know....when you talk so high about a serie maybe you also should inform us about it?  why do you like it so much?  And what is the serie about?   (Never have heard about the book or serie).

wuts a serie?

Show, soap, sitcom;..Everything on tv that is with actors and is not a movie....(that is why it is nominated for best mini-Series)

Miniseries are very much like movies, though.

Actually they wanted to make a movie at first but they realized they wouldn't have enough time to tell the story in 2 hours so they decided to make a miniseries instead (which is usually 8 hours or so).

It's not worth seeing it if you haven't read the book I think so that's why I didn't summarized the story.

And I did say why I liked it so much.

Uhm yeah ok I forgive you =p..  I only clicked on this thread because I read 'The pillar of Autunm'..anyway..

LOL...too much Halo on the brain.

lol, yeah I watched it. My family caught a preview of it on DirecTV's channel 101, then we found the whole series on Netflix. Pretty good miniseries that goes in depth on it's various aspects.

Ian Mckshane is awesome as the villain. I saw another movie with him as a priest and I was like " yep, that's the bad guy."

If they are making a sequel series... holy crap.

And that's the only thing I need is *this*. I don't need this or this. Just this PS4... And this gaming PC. - The PS4 and the Gaming PC and that's all I need... And this Xbox 360. - The PS4, the Gaming PC, and the Xbox 360, and that's all I need... And these PS3's. - The PS4, and these PS3's, and the Gaming PC, and the Xbox 360... And this Nintendo DS. - The PS4, this Xbox 360, and the Gaming PC, and the PS3's, and that's all *I* need. And that's *all* I need too. I don't need one other thing, not one... I need this. - The Gaming PC and PS4, and Xbox 360, and thePS3's . Well what are you looking at? What do you think I'm some kind of a jerk or something! - And this. That's all I need.

Obligatory dick measuring Gaming Laptop Specs: Sager NP8270-GTX: 17.3" FULL HD (1920X1080) LED Matte LC, nVIDIA GeForce GTX 780M, Intel Core i7-4700MQ, 16GB (2x8GB) DDR3, 750GB SATA II 3GB/s 7,200 RPM Hard Drive

I saw an episode of it... thought it was actually pretty great, but I was on vacation at the time so didn't catch the rest.

It seemed worth seeing if you didn't read the book to me.

As for what it's about... it's basically about as far as I can tell, the changing tides and fortunes of war between the common people and common towns when faced with civil wars and how the people basically have to get along with the tyrant of the day and try to align rightly with the right cause so that their village may prosper.

I loved the books!!! So I will enjoy the miniseries as well?

No, I have not, but it looks intersting, so I'll watch it if it will ever be broadcast it over here.

Well it's not exactly a direct sequel. World Without End takes place at Kingsbridge as well but it's something like 200 years later.

I've seen episodes 1 and 2 on blu-ray, quite good so far (I haven't read the book), I'll watch ep3 and 4 in sometime.

I don't like that poster. Clothes too clean or something. That poster says "TV series" for some reason.

If it's that good, it should be good even if one didn't read the book, no?
