Forums - PC - I need HELP with an ISO file!!

I have my cousin's laptop that has a really f'ed up Vista install. Keeps blue screening so badly that I can't even get on to determine what drivers/hardware is the cuplrit. I've already exhausted BIOS changes and ram, etc. So I would like to simply reinstall Vista as I have his legit key under the battery to use. However, I don't have a disc for Vista as all my stuff is Win7.

Does anyone have a link for an ISO of Windows Vista Home Premium. I think all of the dics have every version, so probably any Vista ISO will work.

Please, this is not a request for anything illegal. I have a key and want a legit ISO without any modifications.

Thanks in advance for your help. I don't frequent any torrent sites so I don't really have trust for them and don't want to get a hackjob or virus.

Pretty sure that is in reference to pirating. This is not pirating.

Even if you d/l it for legit use. It still counted as 1 copy stolen.  You're putting a burden on piracy for going legit, man.

32 bit or 64 bit?

Windows is distributed in a lot of ways, including digital distro, the thing that matters to them is the bought license, that's the thing they check with their validation methods... So if he does the job well, it's legit and it's not stolen.

Now, for this to work the distro has to be the same, so if the laptop has Home Premium then good, otherwise look for the version installed on the laptop and download that... You can look for a torrent of a retail untouched version of vista on Google or another search engine...

your choices if you don't want to turn to torrents are contact Microsoft/Laptop manufacturer and see if they will send you a replacement disc (probably at your cost, shipping & handling etc) unless of coarse the manufacturer included a recovery partition on the laptop.

Check out my hype threads: Cyberpunk, and The Witcher 3!

Search google and download it from a trusted website.

Recovery partition won't run, keep getting blue screen. I'm leaning toward hardware failure vs software. Since its a laptop and not mine, I threw in the towel. Its not HDD or memory related and I'm not messing with the mobo/cpu on the laptop. It could also be driver related, but I can't keep it up long enough to find out.

I don't want to ruin his warranty or use one of my legit Win7 keys so he can figure that out on his own. It was disgustingly filthy too, so I am a little apprehensive towards the little bastard. lol. Let him spend the $200 for Best Buy to fix or buy a new one for $500. It is a low end model anyways.
