Australia is the worst though when it comes to game prices.

Would you pay $60 for Nintendo developed DS Games or Square Enix developed PSP Games? Right now US $60 is the same as AU $60 so it's ridiculous shit that we are still having to play $108 for new released games and $99 if they're generous. But at least retailers have finally started to have price competition during first 2 weeks of major game launches.

IE GT5 would normally cost $118 AU but during the first 2 weeks it was $78 amongst retailers such as JB Hifi, Target, Big W, etc.
