Original costume/color is shown instead. There's an icon and message displayed in the Vs. screen as well ("costume not purchased" or something).

This only happens for the newest costume pack, however (the December one). The original Street Fighter IV costume set and the first Super costume set are shown even if they are not purchased (probably came on disc?).


Just saying if you press the "Quote" button at the bottom of each post you can quote it without having to type it out :)

You gotta love Sony. Charging their customers to use PSN and charging the publishers to have stuff downloaded. Now that's successful business practice. I'd put more blame on Sony then Capcom, if you want to see the costumes then just buy them

XbL is free for me, yet if I try to log onto PSN Sony will charge me ~$100.

You dont have to buy plus O.o you get 99% of everything without plus xD and its $40 i think...or $60 but they dont make u xD. and are using the super crap xbl that's free?

$40 for PSN plus. It doesn't matter though. Sony is double dipping. Charging it's users and the publishers

Silver is free :P

You also forget that you have to give up Linux to get on PSN, a nice ~$100 feature

That's not even the point. 

1. I don't care about the 360. I still have everything and more that was promised me when I bought it. Unlike the PS3.

2. Several people in the thread stated that MS doesn't charge publishers because they are charging their customers, guess what, Sony is too.

4. The only difference between the slim and fat at the time of my purchase was the $100 price tag and OtherOS. To get on PSN I have to give it up. So yeah...
