I would have bought both VC 1 and VC 2 if I had a PSP, but since I don't, I am not really interested in Valkyria Chronicles.. I only wish VC 2 was for the PS3 as well :(

In fact, I'll probably just start from the beginning. I just bought too many PSP games in 2010 and didn't really focus on any of them. |
You were the only one.
OT- Still need to play it, but I have high hopes.
Time for hype
I stuck at the first Dirk mission still, so for now I'm just playing Ys Seven.

It's easy, just take out the tank in each area asap, and bam now you can kill every V2 in the area :) just don't try to 'kill' dirk himself

PS3! PS3! PS3! Sega are bastards for making such a great game for PS3, and then making a great sequel and putting it on PSP. Just bring it over to PS3 when PSP2 is launched and all will be forgiven...and the same for VC3 while they're at it.
Not so fussed about MGS, though I'll give MGS4 a try at some stage...maybe.
Can someone insert clip from 'Meet the Fockers' with the little kid saying "Ass-hole".

I'm still a little peeved that Peace Walker was made for PSP rather than PS3, although I understand it had to do with a shorter turnaround time for the title more than anything else. Plus Konami already has a well-established history of MGS game support for the platform. At 6 titles, I think that's more than any other platform.
The controls are just a little limited with one analog stick and the action in that game isn't really appropriate for a little portable screen.
VCII on the other hand is perfect for a portable format like any turn based strategy game (Advance Wars). I bought it on sale through PSN and loaded it onto memory but haven't started it yet. Soon.
I always wonder why people cry so badly about it being PSP game. I think it was very well suited to portable gaming and changes in demo of VC3 show that all weaker points will be improved.
For me it was best PSP game released so far and my GOTY 2010 for sure.

Love the game from the technical pointo of view is way much better than the first one. But from the story/character point of view I think it's really poor Avan and Colette are probably some of the most cliche characters I've seen in a game, the dub is kinda annoying (Avan's laugh mostly) and most of the support characters are complety wasted. (Mischlitt's story was cool tought)
Over for me it's the best PSP game from last year but still not as good as the first one, I can't wait to check the third game but I'm glad that they get rid of the lame Gakuen anime angle.

Yeah the main characters were paper thin :) But they made excellent work on support characters.
