I'm actually more surprised to see MGS Rising in that list...

Once January is over, Final Fantasy Versus XIII will be No.1

I'm more surprised to see SW 3Z on the list considering that it is a port of a game that didn't exactly set the Japanese charts on fire

Pretty amazing to see 3rd Birthday on the Top 5, over established series such as Metal Gear, Final Fantasy or Dynasty Warriors.

Not bad for an entire re-telling of the Parasite Eve story, which was left in a 11 years hiatus

Aya Brea FTW

Not if DQX gets unveiled in this week's Jump.

after that list i think PS3 got a real good chance to win Japan 2011 console-wise...

It will outsell the Wii for most of the weeks this year, but they need to have more games with mainstream appeal for the holiday season, like Ninokuni, FF or MH i'd say.

They also need to make the console more family oriented, and they will need more than some mediocre western Move game to reach that audience.

Agreed.  I expect pretty much a repeat of this year, PS3 wins in weeks but Wii wins in actual sales.

And agreed with Move, I dunno what's going on at SCEI but they need to really start throwing some better support behind it.  Stuff like Mingol 6, Dark Cloud 3, Ape Escape 4, etc.  The fact that Move didn't launch in Japan with a Mingol game blows my mind, it's so obvious...
