i have no interest in motion gaming but it was interesting to see ppl use kinect at the mall

Of the games left joy ride is a possibility to get but not likely. Prob next one will be rise of nightmares imo.

nice to see the positive feedback for Kinect.

I played Kinect Sports with my MOM for 2-3 hours and it was so much fun. It is not the kind of game I play frequently, but it truly showed the potential of Kinect. That is why I have high hopes for Rise of Nightmares. I can see it working and a game like condemned working with Kinect would be awesome.

Btw. my mom is not into videogames. She knows it is my hobby, but she never played on a game console except a Tetris game on my genesis.

I was with my mum and she played with kinect and loved it too lol we were playing sports and she knocked someone out lol.. She was quite proud lol

Hi all wow a pretty positive thread from someone who says he is mostly a sony fan,i salute you and the others in this thread for they helpful and inciteful replies.i too have kinect and am loving it,there are more pluses to it than minuses,and there is more to kinect than just gaming that will keep it fresh.what is going on on the pc front will cross over into gaming and blow some of us away.

once again great thread and replies.i took some one from the other hd camp to write ,this and that is the way it should be,as time goes by i expect to see even more positive threads from some very unusual suspects.peace and HAPPY NEW YEARRRRRRR.by the way i play to own 2 kinect,i had my sister-inlaw over to try kinect and she was so amazed by what she could do without the buttons,that she will by my kinect.

and she is not a gamer,2 kinects for my home as my wife wan,t her own as i told her i will have my own as when the hacks for pc are even better i don,t want to have to share mine with her and my daughters.they all love dance central and your shape fitness,the demos on the disc are played to death.

i didnt enjoy it tbh. I found it to be too unresponsive. I Found it more fustrating and annoying more then anything  else.

That been said though i only tried the game where you put your hands over the holes to stop the water from splurting through the tank and the game where you hit the balls that come at you.

I tried a demo of it myself yesterday, and while I could perceive the lag, I'll be damned if it wasn't fun! It's definitely moved Kinect up from a "we'll see" to a "at some point" for purchasing. (We'll be waiting until at least they're easier to find, and holiday bills are paid down some...)

Ya know what though, this thread is going so well that you pointing this out will only incite more negativity. I'm not saying that you don't have a point and I know where you are coming from in general. I've come to accept that it's a trend here and only in the extreme cases does it bother me a little. Let's not lose sight of the fact that it was a self-proclaimed Sony fanboy who started the thread. Lol, maybe that's what it takes to keep a positive 360 thread mostly positive. Think Gandhi, Martin Luther King Jr. and others of this ilk.
