Improve Gaming performance in Windows with a click with GBoost

By Windows Club| December 27th, 2010. Filed under: Downloads. Tags: Games

GBoost is a free Windows game booster service that allows you to temporarily strip down your un-required services & processes, and closes running apps and open windows and puts your PC in a bare essentials state required for gaming. All in a click!

This improves the overall speed of your game including frame rate drops and lag spikes as well as alt tabbing out of games faster. You generally land up with a more responsive gaming experience.

Simply ‘Press to Boost’ and changes will be made. These changes made are temporary and revert back once you reboot your Windows computer. Alternatively, if you click the ‘Restore’ button, all services, processes, apps are restored back, including your open browser windows, if any!

It is thus completely safe with no permanent changes made to your Windows PC.

Features:

  • Safe and simple to use – 1 click Boost
  • No Permanent changes
  • No Overclocking
  • Smoother game play
  • Noticeable Results
  • No interruptions
  • Reduces Lag
  • More stability for your games

Well I don't lag on my PC at all but...that's cool for those who need it.

Good, now about the other million things that need to be fixed in that abomination of a game.

Rob do you have ANYTHING good to say about ANY FF game? Half your posts talk about hating something FF related. But...yeah FFXIV has some issues that need to be fixed.

I love FFIV-FFIX. I praise aspects of FF10 and FF13 that I enjoy (even if I enjoyed less of them than I found faults in them). FF10 had great pacing, an excellent soundtrack and the peak of turn based battle systems. FF13 had an excellent battle system, art design, music, setting. However I have nothing positive to say about FF12 or FF14 apart from graphics, I feel both games have too many problems and I didn't enjoy them at all.

Wagram, use the software and tell me what you think when you play FFXIV My LS Leader is using it and he actually enjoys playing the game more and isn't bored easily because he can now get stuff done faster.

I feel bad for the people who are still playing FF14................. and how the hell do you have so many 35-37 chars in XI and not one single 75? o_O;;; YOU ARE NOT HARDCORE ENOUGH! NOT WORTHY YOU!

There are a ton of people on my server (on FFXIV). All of my friends left FFXI and are on FFXIV, albiet some on different servers.

And I level my characters jobs evenly so I can use the same armor and weapons. Plus, I'm busy with work and school, so I couldn't be on FFXI all the time. Plus I find it meaningless (for myself) to do end-game on FFXI because "I have a life" Although it's much easier to play FFXIV because I can take things at an even pace and it's much easier for me to play it. It's MUCH easier to craft on FFXIV and even level up. Plus a lot of the time (on FFXI), I got discouraged after awhile because I couldn't find anyone to party with so I could level up, so my account on FFXI is inactive, and as I mentioned before all my friends left FFXI to go to FFXIV. So there is almost no point in going back. I do have both accounts synced up because if I make any more characters on FFXIV (like when my girlfriend comes to live with me, she would want to play too), I will have the Hermes Shoes for my characters. Plus I like playing FFXI for the LAWLS now on my new desktop, as it looks like an upscaled N64 game

And Dahuman, regardless of this thread with me mentioning Final Fantasy XI or XIV, this software can be used on your computer for ANY games. I used it on Batman: Arkham Asylum and I have noticed a massive boost in performance without sacrificing quality.

look at my machine in my sig, you really think I need a boost? =P You don't need to have no life to get to 75 in XI btw, you just needed a static party and only play 2 hours a day max if you have other things to do, at least that's what I did before I played WoW, was pretty easy.

STOP PLAYING FF14! YOU ARE MAKING GAMING BABIES AND KITTENS CRY!

Well, I do not have money to burn on electronics I will get a higher-end graphics card when I can afford one. Since Windows '8' was mentioned to have a more centered PC gaming experience, I'm holding out for that OS and any graphics cards that have DirectX 12 or whatever lol

And I'm actually having A LOT of fun on FFXIV right now since I downloaded this software. I'm not as discouraged when I used to have the lag. Plus it fixed this 'glitch' I was having because this certain area kept crashing my game (and only my game; my friends on the LS weren't having an issue in the same area as me, but also different areas; it depends on your system's specs for these crashing glitches), which discouraged me from doing any battle related quests.

Plus there's nothing wrong with game itself. Sure some of the things are a bit lacking, but online games EVOLVE. Look at FFXI and WoW. They weren't exactly polished when they were released, either. I think much of this actual lag in FFXIV has to do with the graphics, because if you take out the Aero from Windows 7, stop your Gadgets, etc., you will have a MASSIVE boost in performance. My character's Pugilist class is actually more enjoyable now with using GBoost, because the performance is faster and my character acts like he drank Red Bull.
