The RAM in that bundle more than likely wont work with your set-up as it is designed for intel P55chipsets, yours being an AMD setup it will cause issues. There may be ways of making it work but that was the RAM my cousin recently had trouble with, he too was building an AMD (AM3) system, basically it was the cause for his computer to crash whenever he tried to install windows, changed to some 'OCZ Reaper' RAM and it went perfectly smoothly.

As far as OCZ goes with RAM I believe they are among the best, certainly they are my personal favourite company to buy RAM from.

The sooner you order the more likely you'll get one from the original batch. However I wouldn't count on it 100%, its a nice thing if you can do it but not really a problem if not.

@Memory: Well you can pretty much try to set the memory to whatever timing/speed settings your motherboard supports. You can always underclock it, for instance if you have a stick of 1333 and another of 1600 the ram will be clocked at 1333 if it is in dual channel configuration.

another questions- about how big of a performace boost will i get if i get the 6950 over 5850 or 6870. because Now i Am starting to question wheteher or not i should spend $300 on a graphics card.

Well its an excellent architecture, very forward looking in terms of how it is made and a very well made card to boot. Its an excellent card but if you're only using less graphical challenging games feel free to revert back to the 6870 as the deal is effectively the same.

i have seen some bundles of 6870 and how would you rate OCZ for ram? Im looking at this bundle http://www.newegg.com/Product/ComboDealDetails.aspx?ItemList=Combo.578043

It is only single channel. You'd probably want something which is 2 x 2GB.

Unfortunately it looks like that deal with the other RAM has ended. I guess now theres no cheap combo most likely the cheapest RAM from a good manufacturer will have to suffice.

Tease.

How do these look?

Round $607?

I know this sounds stupid, but look into the EGVA power boost. Its a little device that boosts power to your PCIe slots through a PCIe x1 slot. Its quite useful for imcreased stability.
