Ok so id thought i'd start a thread to see what everybodys highlights of 2010 are, it doesnt have to be a game release just anything as long as it's gaming related,

2 of my top 3 are actually recent trailers. here;

1. Mass Effect 3 trailer at the recent VGA's- Ok ive never even played Mass Effect in my life, infact id never even been that interested in it, but after seeing this trailer for the 3RD installment for the franchise ive been shocked at how much its switched me around, ive watched it over and over and ive preordered Mass Effect 2 for PS3 which is now my most hyped game and been on the mass effect 1 wiki just to get an idea of the story in that game (yep i know theres a interactive comic but ive been reccommended to go to the wiki for better info). Bioware have done an excellent job putting that trailer together because its completely grabbed my attention to the franchise.

2.Final Fantasy 13 release- I'd been waiting so long for this, i love the Final Fantasy series and i was so hyped for this game, i honestly dont see why it was slated so much but i do think that was just the minority of people, yes it was linear but i had no problem with this whatsoever. I thought it was a really good story driven RPG and i enjoyed it from start to finish and think that it's a brilliant addition to the Final Fantasy series, im hoping that the rumours that there could be a FF13-2 being considered end up true because i'd love to play as lightning and her buddies again.

3.Elder Scrolls V reveal trailer at the VGAs- Another good trailer, not as good as the Mass Effect 3 trailer but still something that i was mega happy to see and i think ALOT of people were aswell, and whats even better is that we now know that there using a new engine to develop it on and not that old faulty thing that they've loved to use for the past 250 years, so i really cant wait to get more details and see some in-game footage of what this new engine looks like visually.

1) Mass Effect 2! Playing the PC version as well as the PS3 announcement.

2) Persone 3 Portable! Amazing PSP game. It's a shame there isn't an equivalent game on the PS3.

3) Dragon Age Awakening Expansion =)
