Originally I was writing a thread on what (non-Nintendo) Wii games I'd like to see announced in 2011 but realized all of them could, should and would be better on PS3 with Move support.
So if the following is announced with Move support, it would be enough to entice me into getting a PS3.
GTA 5 - I loved the Wii sandbox games like Godfather / Scarface / Bully. Motion absolutely added to this genre as did IR aiming. Unfortunately the biggest sandbox franchise has never made it too Wii and probably won't.
MLB 11: The Show - For some unimaginable reason, there's never been a good baseball game on Wii. What's been on Wii has lacked WM+ support and online. Besides even if that changes, it'd be 2K11 and Sony's MLB is far superior.
Star Wars Jedi ___ (Light saber game) - Ever since Wii was announced we all wanted to play a Star Wars game with 1:1 lightsaber control. Closest we've seen was Red Steel 2 which, while it had fine sword controls, was a gimped game in most other respects. No multiplayer, no online, lots of long loading screens for tiny areas, repetitive. A fully realized SW game, similar to the old Jedi Knight series, with a fully featured online, with Move and HD glory. Yes please.
Lara Croft (or Drake's Fortune or Prince of Persia) - Love Lara Croft and PoP on Wii. Motion is more subtle but, if done right, still adds to the immersion. It'd have to be optional of course, I'm sure most would rather not, but for myself, Move support would be a requirement.
More games in the ilk of Heavy Rain. Adventure games where made for mouse/click and fit very nicely on Wii, motion works well in this genre as well. I'd want to see them support Move on PS3 as well and more of them (Sam & Max for example, which is on PS3 but not currently using Move)
FPS - I'm not personally big on FPS but I do like the odd one and after years of pixel accurate PC/Wii FPS there's no way I'm going to dual analog aiming.
So now I'm curious. Can Move get other 360/Wii owners to make the switch with the right games? What games would be required to get you to buy a PS3?
