each ps3 is slightly diffrent old 60gbs would suck from back and front and blow out the side

once the 40gb came out they changed it

use tissue paper to see whats going on you may not feel anything by hand

seeing your pic up there i dont think it would suck much any further b/c the BR drive is there no room for ventilation even thought there are vents there but try to use tissue paper in that area once you leave the console on long enough

You think the PS3 could have dust inside the vents? I vacumed my PS3 like 3 weeks ago and clean the place around the PS3 like once or twice a week.

Yeah it was a joke. Everyone knows how PS3s seem to eat dust but they don't cough it back up easily either.

How is this a question about PS3 "fans"?

Well, there are big fans inside the PS3 that keep it working cool but it seems some of them died inside my PS3, I need to recruit new fans.
