Forums - General - Golden Globe Nominations >_

Sorry if this is already a thread... wen't searching but couldn't find anything similar.

Anyway... so the list of nominations are up on their website (http://www.goldenglobes.org/blog/2010/12/the-68th-annual-golden-globe-awards-nominations/)I just saw it and I think it's the most ridiculous list I've seen for the golden globes. The Tourist having 3 nominations, and Burlesque being nominated for best comedy/musical is just absurd.

Also, John Powell's fantastic score for How to train your dragon got snubbed... it was easily the best score of the year.

How to train your dragon better win over Toy Story 3.

But the best score this year was Inception.

I listen to this music when I take a shit everyday.

Yeah I have no problem with Inception being nominated. :D Hans Zimmer did a fine job.

Though how can this not be nominated ...

What catagory are you talking about? imho how to train your dragon doesnt compare to Despicable Me, Tangled, or Toy Story 3 in terms of quality. All those deserve best animated feature over HTYD or whatever that other movie is (never heard of it)

I think The King's Speech will win big. The Black Swan will nab a few though, most notably Natalie Portman for lead actress.

I agree that HTTYD should've been nominated for its amazing score....@ SSJ

Toy Story 3 = Over-rated

Imo, HTTYD should win. Amazing movie.

Have you even see Tangled or Despicable Me? both are better then Toy Story 3 and HTTYD.
