I clearly remember the first time I found out. I was in the arcade when this guy came running in, looked around for a minute, and ran out.(*edit*this guy was a store employee and he was chasing my step-brother who hid inside of an arcade machine--I was in the arcade watching people play games.) Later, when my mom picked me up, he showed me his new toys. I don't know how much later it was, but we wound up going to "Play Land" in the mall and my bro showed me some empty packages. He just smiled. "You STOLE them!!?", I asked. From that point on, we were proffessional toy theives. Later, we started renting video games and switching the labels of the ones we liked with games we didn't like. Nobody ever put two and two together and found out that we were the reason that nobody ever got the games the intended to rent. Years later, he became a preacher and I became a cop. I don't know about him, but the only thing I stole since then was the dignity of innocent women......and a Nintendo DS (It was an accident! I thought it was my daughter's!). |
