Forums - Sony - SNOW EVERYWHERE I HAVE NEVER SEEN SO MUCH SNOW

Colorado normally has a ton of snow around now. We've had maybe an inch this fall. And it's been insanely warm recently. Like, in the 70s (about 21 C). I'd love some snow. Sharing is caring.

global warming is bringing snow?

we had the coolest summer here in so. cal. and get this, it started raining this morning and the forecast says it'll keep on raining for 4 more days!  It's like seattle here.

@insomniac  raining here in so. cal.  that means you will get a lot of snow very soon.

Wouldn't you rather keep the snow in the mountains where the real fun is at? Colorado Springs got snow yesterday and its still here today. I was actually loving those 60F days we had, even broke out my shorts for finals week!

London hates snow - shame that we've just received so much of it xO

Normally yes (though I haven't been on the slopes at all this year, sadly), but I like getting snow in town too, especially since everything is gonna be really dry next year if we don't get more snow... and I'm still waiting for the massive blizzard where we can have another epic snowball fight all over campus. We got snow yesterday too, but it was only enough to cover the ground.

Don't know about Califormia, but one of the theories is that global warming will make Europe colder, due to cold currents from melted ice negating/stopping the Gulf Stream.

YAY SNOW!

Yeah when you think about it Colorado would be a desert if we didn't get so much snow. Also the summer white water rafting would suck without the snow. Colorad needs snow for are vast tourism.

HaHa I had those too! Walking around campus and random college dudes throwing snowballs from their dorm rooms. EPIC.

And yeah the snow has been weak so far, I do love a blizzard if your stuck inside with good company and plenty of booze. So I guess snow in the city can bring good times.

The most snow I've seen ever in London! Just had a massive snow fight this morning, hopefully it continues!

We had alot of snow around thanksgiving which made driving down the interstate a nightmare >.< they had the right lane all cleared off but people still granny poked so all the people who wanted to go faster were forced to use the passing lane which was still covered in snow and ice....it was kinda funny seeing the shitty snowed over lane moving faster then the clear one.... I hate slow drivers btw >.< they piss me off

Ya, global warming/climate change works with the destruction of the currents by increase icing of the arctic reflecting sun away from the planet during the winter and desalinating the oceans during the other warmer seasons.

Things that could help decrease this. Carbon capture technologies and trading, desalination plants (take salt water, make fresh water for us, put remaining salt back into oceans), and decreasing the use of fossil fuels (which is happening, more efficient gas vehicles, re-rise of  electric vehicles, and more aerodynamic big rigs).
