Forums - Gaming - Square enix conference delayed!

Square Enix is planning an event this January to announce some major titles, according to Famitsu. Originally referred to as the "FABULA NOVA CRYSTALLIS Conference" back in September, the event is now known as the SQUARE ENIX 1st Production Department Premiere. The date has also been changed, from January 11th to the 18th.

The event will take place in the Toho Cinemas in Roppongi and is aimed at Square Enix members. A drawing will be held to determine who can attend, with details to follow on the Square Enix members homepage.

In September, Testuya Nomura told Famitsu magazine that the upcoming January event could cover a number of planned Square Enix titles, including Final Fantasy Versus XIII, Final Fantasy Agito XIII, Dissidia 012 Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts 3D. Today's Famitsu report reiterated that, noting that the 1st Production team is responsible for Final Fantasy XIII, the Kingdom Hearts series and Dissidia Final Fantasy.

BOOOO I WANT IT NAO D: EXCITED AND DISAPPOINTED :(

What I want from a game.

Gameplay > Story > Content > Graphics

Visual Style > Graphics

Smooth Camera, Intuitive Controls

Friction! When everything feels right!

Well a week isn't so bad.

I know this is random....but something about that screenshot in the OP bothers me very much.

It feels like something that has been on the original Playstation before...but just looks modern-day. It looks new...but old

-_- I can't explain it.

I literally LOLd reading the topic.

Bet with Dr.A.Peter.Nintendo that Super Mario Galaxy 2 won't sell 15 million copies up to six months after it's release, the winner will get Avatar control for a week and signature control for a month.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!

It was delayed SEVEN days! That's so frigging long!... Nah, I'm just kidding :P

But seriously, the wait for Final Fantasy Versus XIII has been so long that all my hype is starting to become anger :P I used to watch the trailers at least once a day but lately there have been days in which I don't watch them anymore :( this is starting to get a bit annoying T_T

A banner stolen from some site xD

Release Final Fantasy Versus XIII nowwwwwwwwww!!! lol :P

Update: Tetsuya Nomura tweeted Square Enix will announce titles to be shown at the conference next week.

It's changed from just a XIII event to a SE 1st Production event. New games will be announced. This is all stuff from the core FF teams I believe and the KH guys.

FFXV imminent?

That might be it. I can imagine myself playing FFVersusXIII next Christmas in my room and feeling 9 years old again. The game just has that aesthetic...based on that screenshot. I really don't know how to word what I mean....
