Forums - Gaming - Every year gamers say 'next year will be amazing', but 2011 REALLY is..

Im excited for 3DS, new Twisted Metal Gears 3 and maybe TLG. So nothing special here.

Getting an XBOX One for me is like being in a bad relationship but staying together because we have kids. XBone we have 20000+ achievement points, 2+ years of XBL Gold and 20000+ MS points. I think its best we stay together if only for the MS points.

Nintendo Treehouse is what happens when a publisher is confident and proud of its games and doesn't need to show CGI lies for five minutes.

It pains me to say it but yes next year will be an amazing year of gaming. The reason its sucks saying that is because I haven't really been all that impressed this Gen of gaming, considering how amazing the last 2 gens were this one is underwelming. Still Games like Uncharted and Mass Effect make this gen worth it and both of those games release next year.

Not much coming up for the Wii though. So far for the US it's just Zelda Skyward Sword (if released in 2011) and pretty much nothing else. The Conduit 2 and The Grinder (also if released), but there's barely anything going on. Mario Sports Mix but that's meh. Am I missing something?
