Sony's statement says that combined PlayStation sales were up 160% from October, that the PS3 saw a 285% spike in sales over the previous month and that their total software revenue for the month was up 128%. They also highlight the fact three PS3 games made the month's top 10 in sales.

 

Note: Sadly its even flawed as it only had 2 games in the top ten

what was october's sales numbers? If its somewhere around 150k then 285% is completely plausible.

NPD Oct:  PS3 121,000
NPD Nov: PS3 466,000

Sales increase 285%

Oh well, they found nothing funny to say this month... They're basically saying that their sales went up a lot in November compared to October, though that's how things are supposed to go.
And 3 PS3 games in the top 10... Yeah... Maybe he meant 3 games in the top 10 were also released on the PS3...
