To me, the only place it's fallen from is the top tier seller in the FPS genre. I still consider it to have an unrivaled mutliplayer experience, and not seeing it win the shooter category isn't too shocking. The popularity is on CoD right now.

Keep watch though, I think Halo 4 will have a very different reception.

Um, elaborate? I'm guessing you mean a decline in popularity? Because "top tier" or not, it still sells an ungodly amount...

It deserved Best Shooter and GOTY over the other winners. Its a far better game than the ones that won. The awards were BS, they were probably set up to go to the highest bidder. Cause how does random COD character win best character over other better and established characters?

Um, I didn't mean a decline at all. I meant it will probably be nominated, and possibly win, GOTY of whatever year it launches.

I'm not sure how you got a negative tone out of me at all. :-S

Oh sorry lol. Wasn't trying to be nasty. Fail.

Might depend on how people view COD at that time no? Hard to see the franchise getting MORE dominant, but ya never know. But Halo seems to be becoming like Mario, ever present, always pretty successful.

Damn straight God of War III is Graphics King of the Year. Well deserved and hardly suprising considering that no other game touched GOW III's graphics.

Maybe not decline, But do you think it will improve over the others? If so, that's going to be a challenge considering Bungie is no longer developing the IP.
