Agree, with a caveat. You don't have the numbers exactly right. The Move starter kit for $99.99 comes with the PSeye, one Sony Move navigation controller and one Sony Move motion controller. The Sony bundle for $399.99 comes with a game, the PSeye, Move navigation controller, and one Move motion controller.
Here is the kicker: Each additional Sony Move motion controller costs $49.99.
Most will buy more than one motion controller. If a family of 4 (2 spouses and 2 kids) buys the Sony Move bundle at $399 and 3 additional Sony Move motion controllers, then they will have shelled out more than $550 (state sales tax in the USA) for the PS3 console, PSeye, one Move navigation controller, 4 Move motion controllers, and one game.
Great value? Depends if the software fits their needs. Cheaper than Kinect? Not by a longshot as the Microsoft Xbox 360 Kinect bundle comes at a total price tag of less than $400 (not counting any games).
As for the lag on Kinect, I have talked with GameStop employees who own one. They say "there is no lag." I take their word because they like bankers know their industry. Do they have biases? Sure we all do and this is why I have asked more than one GameStop employee.
