Wow @ the more than 100k difference between the PS360 numbers, either kinect is doing more damage than initially thought or the PS3 is losing ground heavily in America due to ludicrous pricing in comparison with the competition.. Damn that's a close bet Seece regarding the GT5 2nd week... The gap between 360 and PS3 in Americas.. It's insane, compensating for 360 death in Japan, massive gap in EMEAA AND pushes it in front by more than 100k. Insanely big market.

Price is a big factor.

I was at a party yesterday and the only ones who played the wii were the adults.

Goldeneye then jeopardy, Karaoke, the mario kart.  We were laughing and having a good time.

I'm seriously starting to wonder why is the PS3 selling so bad in Americas. It's definitely not because of advertising because It has the same amount of advertising as both the Wii and Xbox 360. It has games as well it just had GT5 it's biggest game on it's platform relased. I doubt it's price since both the Xbox 360 and PS3 are priced the same except for the arcade version. If sony was smart they would release their own "arcade" version to combat the Wii and 360 and maybe even a price cut.

Anyways I'm kinda surprised at Halo Reach sales it's not holding up as well as I thought it would be I guess the franchise is losing steam after all. Seems like Halo ODST and Halo wars seemed to put a dent in the franchise.

Don't get me wrong I'm not saying it's selling bad it has sold really great so far. But I just thought it would have been the best selling game of the year and would have outsold COD Black OPS the 360 version only atleast.

DON'T! You should by all means improve your performance, instead, for many reasons besides the uncanny but interesting phenomenon. In fact, while Sony, MS and Nintendo Defence Forces are roughly on a par, the problem are the Malstromites: despite being a small bunch and their DF here being a scant ten or even less, their efficiency and ferocity in scouting the forums, swooping upon the reprobates and tearing them apart is just unnatural and makes you all pale like helpless amateurs!   

Just be careful, too many nano-augs can lower your charisma!   

Well MS themselves said they expected Halo Reach to be the best selling game of 2010. As for me well looking how Halo 3 did a little more than 11 million for a game that was released in 2007. I thought Halo Reach would have done more seeing how the Install base is bigger I assumed it would be outselling it at a bigger and faster pace. Also I assumed Black Ops wouldn't have done better than Modern Warfare 2 seeing how it's made by treyarch I honestly expected Halo Reach to be the biggest game of 2010 as far as sales for a single platform.

It's still doing good it seems to have good legs and I do expect it to  outsell Halo 3 eventually. But I just thought it would sell sorta how blacks ops is doing right now. 

Nobody expected Reach to sell more than Black Ops (360). It's like waiting GT5 to outsold Black Ops (PS3). This kind of thing doesn't happen.
