New VGA clip teases Peace Walker announcement

Something Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker-related will likely be at the Video Game Awards show. Previous clips promoting the award show have shown small flashes of the Peace Walker logo in the background; a new clip released today halts the video to a full stop to display the logo (reproduced above) at the 48-second mark.

Peace Walker has been out; it’s not a nominee for any award, either. So what could this be? Konami have expressed interest in the past in bringing the game to PlayStation 3 with an added multiplayer component. Could the VGAs play host to the big reveal?

We’ll see Saturday night, 8pm EST.

I wouldn't be surprised if this is true. This would explain why Peace Walker was 50% off on PSN and has been bundled at a discount with the other MGS PSP games. They're trying to get as many sales as they can before announcing the console version

well if there is a console version i will buy that day one. i passed on the ps3 versionjust because i dont like playing big games like that on a portable device. i hope its coming to ps3!

Obviously it's being made for the 3DS.

Seriously, I don't think they could port to consoles it unless they upped the graphics 1000% and changed the core gameplay.

I hope its for the ps3 and not the 3ds, that'd be a major disappointment, and a major letdown by kojima to sony. I haven't had the opportunity to play it, or the other psp game before it (forgot the name), but, if it was on ps3, even if it were merely hd'd like gow1/2, i'm sure itd sell like hotcakes.

All of this, of course, is just my opinion.

Skyrim 100%'d. Dark Souls 100%'d.
Dark Souls > Skyrim.
Halo 4 is the best damn FPS since Halo 3.
