Hey guys

Today i have seen alot of talk weirdly about the PS4 in reference to Uncharted 3. People are saying things like' may hurt U3 sales' OR 'no uncharted 4 because PS4 will be out soon after U3' 

Can we all just remember a few things. 

The PS3 is Expensive to make. it has a LONGGG way to go before it cost a decent amount and SONY can make a good profit on the hardware. 

Its still very Expensive to create a Game for the PS3. 

SONY wants to make back as much as they can of this 4 billion debt. 

Sony said this has a 10 year plan. thats not 5 years then 5 years under the PS4. thats 10 years of PS3 being Sonys priority. 

We still have yet to see the true Power of the PS3

when people speak about the next gen they need to realise that Sony is stuck with the PS3 for years to come. 

IF sony was to release a new system in 2012/13 the PS3 will be hitting a peak with alot of users at an affordable price. smaller game developers will actually be able to fund a decent looking game. BUT sony will still have a lot of debt left.

WHY would sony release another system that will cost a bomb to make and will cost us around $800 to buy when they know we wont. There will be no games for the PS4 as people wont be able to fund making them. 

The xbox is doing very well with Kinect and will bring in ALOT of gamers who wouldnt have even brought an Xbox before. (the Mum who uses the wii) so MS will also not want to ruin that. 

Nintendo im not sure about. they could release a Wii 2 at any moment as it was always cheap to make the Wii and was a hit fast!

Wii 2.0 - 2012/13

Xbox 3 - 2013/14

PS4 - 2015-17

Sony took the risk with the PS3 so it would last a long time. we all know this. Its lifetime is not 5 or 6 years. its 10 in as the main and maybe live for 5 year under the PS4.

What are you guys thinking? when do you think the Wii 2. Xbox 3 and PS4 will come out?

Sony having a 10 year plan for its system, doesnt barr them from releasing another. it just means it it will remain on the market togheter like he PS1 and PS2 now PS3 and PS2.

If the compitition releases their next console Sony will too, relaesing to late will doom them to irrelevancy esprcially if the others take off.

PS4 will will be here before 2013

Im not sure it will work like that because then the PS4 will be years behind (or ahead in terms of tech) the other consoles. Theyre all likely to launch with about 18 months of each other

PS4 will release in 2013 - 2015 IMO. It'll depend on when the nextbox releases. I think Sony will release their system 1 or 2 years after the nextbox.

If the PS3 drops to $199 next year then I think the PS4 will release in 2013.

I honestly don't know. 

As for the 10 year plan, Sony is saying that the PS3 will still have good support in 2016. Like the PS2 had support up into 2010. That doesn't mean that the PS3 will be the latest Sony console until 2016

xD. You're not serious. Sony doesn't have a choice in the matter. When the Bii and 720 come along, PS3 will die. They'll need a successor. Also, Sony has had a 10-year plan for all its consoles. Doesn't mean they won't release the next one for three years. Means that they'll keep it alive for 10 years. And with the PS3, I seriously doubt that, too.

Not necessarily. If sony released their console 2 years after others, then Sony could use their massive first party to show off the advanced tech and make the PS4 look next gen.

guys Sony is gonna try to beat XBOX3 to market to gain America back!, there definitely no gonna let MS get another advantage/headstart on them
