Hello folks... after seeing so much being said about PSP2, and nothing to be proved the necessity of this thread has born.

Patcher analisys, Joystiq rumors, fanboy war, everything put PSP2 as doomed... but a fellow user just opened my eyes, why everybody takes PSP2 as a failure even before anything real is know about it.

So what would make the PSP2 a sucess (both financial and gaming), become better than PSP and rivalize 3DS.

1st: The hardcore front: 3DS will be 3D without a glass. Make PSP2 a holographic portable with the power of a PS3.

2nd: Everybody knows how precise and reliable Patcher predictions come true... so if I were a Sony shareholder I would follow what he say really close, and then take the opposite direction.

3rd: Make it dirty cheap, anything from Chezaritos bundled to 250$ but never above 3DS. If possible keep it 50$ less than that.

4th: It's the Software that sell Hardware not the other way, so grant a lot of 3rd party support, a strong line up and it'll sell like hotcakes.

5th: Sony need a mascot, as a bunch of members seem to say. So make a plataform with a Skinny eletricist or depumbler - or maybe someone that brake pipes on the way - the answer to Mario, and of couse make 20 games per gen using him to be sure everybody identifies with him.

6th: Believe in the hype and fanboyism, put an Apple on the back and overcharge, this will surely make the portable a selling sucess or at least profitable.

And you guys, what would make PSP2 a sucess?? Maybe a movement sensor in the wrists to play with the small screen.

Mr Puggsly: "Hehe, I said good profit. You said big profit. Frankly, not losing money is what I meant by good. Don't get hung up on semantics"
