Here's the deal.

PC Gaming market is shrinking/changing, while the console market is growing each generation.

Many PC gamers are becoming Console AND PC gamers or switching to consoles entirely.  All of my friends 5-6 years ago were heavy Counter Strike, CoD, and Battlefield gamers on PC.  Some were even ranked in the top clans in the world for those games.

And yet now they play all their shooters on consoles and the only real PC gaming they do anymore is MMO's.

Anecdotal, so don't have a fit, just giving an example of the changing/shrinking demographic that is PC gamers.

So in other words they are counting browser based games as well?  Those are connected to the internet.  I'm sure there are plenty of PC farmville gamers.

Don't think either of you understood me, but it's late now anyways.

PC gamers are more reluctant to buy shit games might be the problem really, its easy to hop online and check out many things and decide whether or not you want to buy a big budget game at that price level, and a lot of games are just not up to standard these days vs the big shot PC devs, though I'm starting to see better Asian PC games these days all of a sudden, PC gaming is kinda shifting, as it always has, and always will be, since it never did follow stable trends and that's why big publishers are afraid to throw money into it.
