OK, I bought the collectors edition and got the chrome line cars. I earned the Shelby Cobra 427 '66. It looks exactly like the chrome line Shelby 427 minus the paint job. When I went to use my chrome line Shelby for the classic super car races in the amateur races, it wouldn't let me saying its to new of a car, and of course my 66 is allowed. What year is the Chrome line Shelby 427? They seem to basically be the same car, but the Chrome line is just pre-tuned.

Its considered a 2010 car. I think because its considered a tuner car.  Hell I have an AEM Honda S2000 and it claims its American.  I found it odd but at the same time it forced me to buy a classic car so I got a Corvette, that I now love, go figure.   

its because it was tuned this year. i think. but then, i have that buick special '67 tuned by some guy for the GT auto show.. it's applicable to the classic car races.
