I live around chicago land area and looking to pick up a HDTV above 46". I have a 40" samsung already but I'm going to put that in my room. I would like to stick with samsung but if it's a good deal and a good name brand, I might go with it. Don't care for 3D tv's just yet. I'm waiting for the glasses free 3D tv's to hit the floor and come down in price.

So if you happen to come across a good deal let me know.

NO SONY TV'S!

Costco has been running some good deals on Vizio LCD and LED TVs lately. I got my 42" in June.  I am kicking myself because I could have gotten at least a 47" if I had waited until now.  I have seen 40" HDTVs selling for less than $500 if you look around.

Why no Sony TVs? They are as good of quality as Samsung and Toshiba... plus I think Best Buy might still have the GT5 bundle going?
