ARTICLE:

December 12, 2007 - Publisher Atlus on Wednesday revealed that is planning to release the dungeon-crawler / action-RPG, Baroque, for Wii and PlayStation 2 next February. The project, designed for the hardcore RPG crowd, revolves around a dark storyline in which death is just the beginning. Verbatim from Atlus:

"You awaken to find the world in ruin, your heart beset with unexplained guilt. A cataclysm has destroyed the cities and empires of men and disfigured the spirit of humanity. In this nightmare, it falls to you to descend a mysterious tower in search of absolution. Battle merciless foes through treacherous dungeons, scour for new items to aid you in your travels, and unlock the secrets of a devastated land. You will find death in the depths, yet learn that death is not the end of the story; in the twisted world of Baroque, it is only the beginning."

Baroque features an original storyline, constantly changing levels and a large cast of "perverse monsters and tormented souls," according to Atlus. In addition, the title enables gamers the ability to fully customize their characters with a heavy selection of weapons and items.

Baroque is rated T for Teen. We've posted first screenshots and a trailer in our media section.

COMMENT:

Doesn't look that great but oh well. At least its not a minigames compilation or some kind of face training game. I liked the part where they mentioned it was a hardcore rpg. The Wii hasn't had one since it came out (not including Paper Mario RPG). I might look into this one, what about u guys?

Instead of seeking to convince others, we can be open to changing our own minds, and seek out information that contradicts our own steadfast point of view. Maybe it’ll turn out that those who disagree with you actually have a solid grasp of the facts. There’s a slight possibility that, after all, you’re the one who’s wrong.

it was already posted yesterday, but maybe some havent seen it

I'm sure this isn't the first time in this month/week in which you've made a thread on a subject that has already been posted.
