Sony has revealed a ton of information surrounding LittleBigPlanet 2 as the game's January 18, 2011 release date looms ever closer. Box and cover art, the official ESRB rating, demo release date, and more have been shown in a December checklist.

The game has not surprisingly received a rating of E for Everyone from the ESRB. It's demo will be hitting the PlayStation Network Store for free on December 22.

Other items on the checklist was the status of the game's online servers, listed as almost done as it enters its "final testing phases this month", a TV spot from Kevin Butler that is in its editing phase, finished in-store displays, a complete Sackboy costume, and LittleBigPlanet 2 holiday wrapping paper.

At the top of the story is the box art for the game's collector's edition. Check out the regular cover art below as well as photos of the in-store displays, Sackboy costume, wrapping paper, and a video tutorial for the game's online "voice recording" features.

Damn that boxart is freaking adorable.  I can't wait!!  This, Mass Effect 2, and Dead Space 2 will be my buys for January.  Then Killzone 3 for February.

As much as I love the boxart (though I love the EU boxart more), that Move Logo thing is fuckin shit. Completely ruins the looks of the boxart.

Yes I care about something like this coz really I'm a collector and love to keep thing very nice and consistant with everything.
