How can the Xbox 360 be leading for five straight months when the Nintendo report has shown PS3 leading 360 in Europe right after the MOVE release. It has to be region specific when Microsoft says Europe and not Europe as a whole. If it is true  then Microsoft are beating NIntendo WII as well in Europe.Seems doubtful, guess IOI can better clarify this.

Probably why MS decides to rely on independant third party trackers like NPD.

^Do you mean to say Microsoft and Nintendo get data from different trackers? I will not doubt Nintendo's report or their tracking medium but all I can say is Microsoft could be interpreting Europe differently here.UK could be Microsoft territory but the rest is doubtful..

I'm just saying MS probably knows more about sales of Xbox 360 then Nintendo (or Sony) does and yes I think they all have their own tracking services for all corners of the globe, but usually just go with the flow and use third parties (which holds no bias)  like NPD when doing PR.

Well I think Nintendo uses GFK for Europe which is pretty accurate. Either way the truth will come out sooner or later.
