Forums - Gaming - Catherine Achievements Leaked!

Catherine's achievements have leaked out a few months in advance! An achievement list was posted earlier today at Xbox360 Achievements.

The achievements hint at a number of unannounced features for the game. Here's a bit of what I was able to pick up:

The game's action component appears to consist of a series of stages. One achievement, "First Nightmare," is obtained by clearing the first stage. There are also achievements for clearing various numbered stages, like Stage 2, 3, 4, etc.

You can also get achievements for clearing things like "Babel 3, Obelisk," "Babel 2, Menhir," and "Rupunzel's 64th Stage."

The action gameplay appears to offer some sort of power up system. One achievement, "Bird Man," is given when you do a triple jump with the "Jump Stone." You also get an achievement for creating an explosion that involves 15 or more "stones."

Incidentally, the game's action component is referred to in the achievement list as "Golden Theater Play." This is the watermark that's in the upper left of many of the screens we've seen.

There are achievements for resolving the troubles afflicted by characters like "Daniel," "Todd," "Justin," and "Morgan." These characters haven't been announced. There's also an achievement for clearing everyone's troubles.

Some achievements surround your time in the bar. You can get an achievement by staying in the bar longer than all other customers. You get achievements for listening to information about the various drinks served in the bar. You can also get achievements for replying to 20 e-mails while in the bar, and for changing the music in the jukebox in the lounge.

Seems to me this could be a similar type of control scheme to Heavy Rain, i dont even know if the games coming here, i would like it to. but this is the only information i've heard in months theres no release window or anything yet i think.

Meh, it's Atlus, not Namco, so it's very unlikely that they won't publish it in the US. Europe is a bit trickier, but at least for the PS3 version there wouldn't be a problem to import.
