Forums - Sony - Move is pissing me off

Are you guys using the RE5 Gold edition with Move? I didn't know wtf I was doing when I heard it was Move compatible and put in my old version of RE5 and had a similar experience. Gold was much better lol.

I personally thought MAG was very fun with the Move controllers. A good bit harder, but definitely fun.

RE5 Move Edition, works just like RE4 Wii Edition, which may I say, are brilliant and super accurate controls.

It is hard to get used at the beginning but it is the best control scheme for a Third Person Shooter, imo.

If you think it is hard to adapt from the convencional dual analog control to that, you should try to play Pro Evolution Soccer on the Wii. I took like a month to get used to that...

it is just the way capcom decided to use move basically it has nothing to do with the move, if you try mag you would know what we meant as move can do the camera movement when you hit the edge, personally i did not find it hard to use move with re5 at all in fact i found it easier than ds3, but it does take time to get used to the control, you have to use the analogue stick to move the camera and your right about the sniper gun, also the same thing happens when controlling guns mounted on vehicles, still overall i loved re5 with move, wheras before i used to spend to long targeting enemies with ds3 alone.

finally capcom did decide to stick with what they know works best they have the exact same controls for re4wii edition, just to make things clear, capcom were lazy, and you need to have patience otherwise when you go to mag you will still be owned because mag has very precise move controls, so much it can make it hard to adapt to at first:-p

From what I've read, the controls are just like RE4 Wii Edition (and not like other Wii shooters like Metroid Corruption).  If that's the case, then the game is awesome and you just haven't gotten used to it.

Capcom messed it up, that's all there is to it. Doesn't mean that other developers will handle it the same way.

Capcom didn't mess up at all, they just used the controls for Resident Evil 4 Wii Edition which work fine. All you need to do is get used to it and once you do you won't want to play the game with dual analog sticks again. Once you get the hang of things you'll have to ramp up the difficulty level as the game becomes too easy.

Yup, after playing Pro Evo Wii I won't play any other football game on any other console again. It's that good. It pisses all over FIFA on the PS3 or 360. There's a steep learning curve but once over it the attacking options available are phenominal. I'm really hoping that Konami will port it to the PS3.

All depends on the time devs take on making the motion controls work, really no different of a story than games on the Wii - some of them are really well done, others are "tacked on". Expect a mix of both

So I bought move tuesday and I was playing sports champions and was amazed at the accuracy but then I put in re5 and then the anger begins. When I move the controller only the gun moves not the camera...wtf? If I want to use move to shoot I have to move the analog on the nav and move....it's fucking easier just to use the ds3! If this is what dead space 2 and kz3 will be like I'm taking it back. I tried playing vs with it....i got fucking raped, I had to use the rifle to be any help to my friend. For games like SC yes....re5 fuck no.

Has anyone else tried move with vs or mercs?

oh yeah, when I move the controller one way I can't move it again. If I aim up and then move the controller down the gun stays aimed up.

Thats capcom's fault man. Not move.

that's because lazy capcom only convert the type-A control to MOVE support, which most of us prefer using type-D, it's not MOVE problem it's lazy capcom.. xD
